As is a tradition at this point, South African tournament organizer Mettlestate has once again delivered some fantastic Cash Cups for local gamers to enjoy this wee, from 11 to 17 April 2022. Let’s take a look at all the important details.
Mettlestate Cash Cups this week
There are a total of five Cash Cups from Mettlestate this week, featuring a variety of popular esports titles. While four of them feature R1,000 prize pools (or more if you end in the top 3 and happen to be a VIP member), there’s also the Valorant Super Cup on Saturday starting at 14:00 with R5,000 in prize money up for grabs.

- Clash of Clans cup – 1v1 tournament open to mobile gamers starting on Monday, 11 April at 19:30.
- Call of Duty: Vanguard cup – 2v2 tournament open to PC, PlayStation and Xbox gamers starting on Tuesday, 12 April at 19:30.
- FIFA 22 cup – 1v1 tournament open to PlayStation gamers starting on Wednesday, 13 April at 19:30.
- League of Legends cup – 5v5 tournament open to PC gamers starting on Thursday, 14 April at 19:30.
These tournaments are completely free to enter but feature a base prize pool of R1,000.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R500 (R1,000 with VIP)
- 2nd place – R300 (R600 with VIP)
- 3rd place – R200 (R400 with VIP)
