COD: Mobile Season 2 – New weapons and competitive AS VAL loadout
On 11 March 2021, Activision unleashed the COD: Mobile Season 2 update. This update includes a plethora of new content, from new maps, game modes, bug fixes, balance changes, new Operators and, of course, a shiny new Battle Pass.
For the competitive COD: Mobile player, one of the most important aspects is the new weapons, as well as loadouts to dominate the battlefield with. We’ve got you covered with details on how to unlock both new weapons, as well as a loadout for the now-available AS VAL Assault rifle.
COD: Mobile S2 – New weapons & AS VAL loadout
First of all, there are two new weapons in the COD: Mobile Season 2 update. The first one is the AS VAL Assault Rifle. You can unlock the AS VAL simply by levelling up your Battle Pass to Tier 21 (the free side).
Next up, there’s the brand-new Sniper Rifle, the SP-R 208. This new Sniper Rifle will release in “late March 2021” according to the Season 2 roadmap. To unlock the SP-R 208 Sniper Rifle in COD: Mobile Season 2 later this March, you will need to complete the Elite Marksmen Seasonal Challenge, which will task you with performing actions, for example, getting kills with Marksmen/Sniper Rifles.
In short, only the AS VAL Assault Rifle is available right now as a new COD: Mobile Season 2 weapon. Check out the suggested competitive loadout for the AS VAL below.
AS VAL loadout:
- Barrel: MIP Quick Response Barrel
- Laser: 5MW Leaser
- Foregrip: Piranha Foregrip
- Ammo: 30 Rnd Mag
- Stock: Lurker Stock
We went with a loadout which adds attachments to increase the weapon’s mobility and accuracy. This means you can really melt your opponents in medium-range gunfights.
