New Deadlock hero Nurse Harrow: Weapon & Abilities

The Deadlock community has voted, and another new hero has entered The Cursed Apple. In case you didn’t know, as part of the massive City Never Sleeps update, Valve is doing a staggered release of the update’s six heroes, based on votes from the community in-game.

The newest addition is Nurse Harrow, the battlefield surgeon whose twisted medical practices make triage in Deadlock feel more like an autopsy. Before we get to the ability details and weapon stats, let’s first check out a lore description to get the blood flowing:

“In the ruined clinics of the city, Nurse Harrow’s footsteps are the sound of borrowed time running out. She doesn’t take the Hippocratic oath lightly—she just interprets it on her own terms. Armed with bone saws, caustic sedatives, and a morbid curiosity for what keeps a body ticking, Harrow tends to wounded allies with agonizing precision while systematically dissecting anyone standing in her way. Patients learn quickly: survival under her care is guaranteed, but you might not leave with all the parts you arrived with.”

Now, let’s dive into the details, starting with Nurse Harrow’s weapon in Deadlock.

Nurse Harrow’s Weapon

One of the most morbid instruments in Deadlock thus far has to be Nurse Harrow’s Transfusion Gun. It is a modified pneumatic syringe injector!

Transfusion Gun is a sustained-fire, close-to-medium range needle rifle dealing 25 damage per projectile. The fall-off range is 14 to 36 meters, packing high velocity and granting Harrow a small percentage of spirit lifesteal on every direct hit.

Deadlock Nurse Harrow Abilities Explained

Check out the list of abilities and ultimate for Nurse Harrow in Deadlock outlined below, with official descriptions.

  • Suture & Splint – Launch a surgical tether toward an ally or enemy. Latching onto an ally heals them rapidly and grants bonus Spirit Shield. Latching onto an enemy deals spirit damage over time and leeches their movement speed, transferring it directly to Harrow.
  • Corrosive Sedative – Shatter a vial of heavy paralytic gas along your crosshair. Enemies caught in the cloud suffer heavy turn-rate and movement slow, escalating into a brief silence if they remain inside the vapor. Allies within the cloud gain debuff resistance.
  • Bone Saw Frenzy – Harrow draws her heavy surgical saw, temporarily replacing her standard melee attacks and surging forward with bonus sprint speed.
    • Light Melee: Deliver a rapid slashing strike that applies bleeding spirit damage over time.
    • Heavy Melee: Perform a devastating downward carve that fractures enemy defenses, reducing bullet armor and dealing bonus damage based on missing enemy health.
  • Triage Zone (Ultimate) – Slam down an electrified medical station that expands into a perimeter-wide operating theater. Allies inside the field receive continuous health regeneration, bonus spirit power, and temporary death prevention on fatal damage. Enemies caught crossing the threshold are violently shocked, knocked down, and dealt heavy spirit burst damage.
