Clash Royale Season 17 balance changes detailed

Those who love playing Clash Royale competitively in, for example, ACGL’s matchfinders, always need to stay up to date with the latest balance changes. Some changes might look relatively small at first glance but they could definitely shake up the meta. With that in mind, we take a look at the Clash Royale Season 17 balance changes.

Clash Royale Season 17 balance changes

Supercell released the Clash Royale Season 17 balance update on 3 November, with changes to a total of six cards. Some of the most-used, highly effective cards have seen slight nerfs, including Electro Wizard, Sparky and Graveyard. Then, Supercell also decided to rework Elite Barbarians, slowing down their movement speed but buffing the card in every other aspect.

Check out the full list of Clash Royale Season 17 balance changes below thanks to RoyaleAPI.

Elite Barbarians

  • Speed: Very fast to fast
  • Hit speed: 1.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds
  • Hitpoints: 970 to 1110
  • Damage: 301 to 318
  • DPS: 177 to 212

Graveyard

  • Minimum Skeleton spawn radius: 3.0 to 3.5
  • This means that skeletons will spawn closer to the edges of the location where the card is spawned.

Mini Pekka

  • Hit Speed: 1.8 seconds to 1.7 seconds

Tombstone

  • Hit Points: 422 to 440

Electro Wizard

  • Damage: 96×2 to 93×2

Sparky

  • First Hit: 0.5 seconds to one second

While most of these changes don’t seem like too big of a deal, for example, the Graveyard change being quite subtle, the Clash Royale Season 17 balance changes could definitely shake up the metagame. Sparky and Electro Wizard have been two of the most successful cards out there, and tactics using these cards will likely have to change a bit.

Don’t forget that Supercell has also released a new Pass Royale for players to level up in Season 17, just in case you haven’t played in a while.
