The highly anticipated Hearthstone expansion, The Witchwood, recent went live. This means a ton of changes come to the title, which shakes up the casual and competitive scene. Cards from 2016 have rotated out of standard mode, and the Witchwood has introduced 135 new cards to the fold. These cards will stay in the Hearthstone competitive ecosystem for as long as two years.
The Witchwood also introduces a free single player (player-versus-computer) mode called Monster Hunt. This is a huge shakeup to Hearthstone and from what we’re hearing about the cards, they’re going to change everything. We’ll have some articles out soon looking at how the new cards/decks shake things up!
