Mettlestate Cash Cups this week | 17 to 23 January 2022
The first active week of 2022 from South African tournament organizer Mettlestate featured a whopping 10 Cash Cups, up from an average of five last year. This week, the madness continues as Mettlestate again as 10 Cash Cups featuring a variety of titles for local gamers to enjoy.

- FIFA 22 cup – 1v1 tournament open to Xbox and PlayStation gamers starting on Monday, 17 January at 19:30.
- Street Fighter V cup – 1v1 tournament open to PlayStation gamers starting on Monday, 17 January at 19:30.
- League of Legends cup – 5v5 tournament open to PC gamers starting on Tuesday, 18 January at 19:30.
- Mortal Kombat 11 cup – 1v1 tournament open to PlayStation gamers starting on Tuesday, 18 January at 19:30.
- Clash Royale cup – 1v1 tournament open to mobile gamers starting on Wednesday, 19 January at 19:30.
- Super Smash Bros cup – 1v1 tournament open to Switch gamers starting on Wednesday, 19 January at 19:30.
- CS:GO cup – 2v2 tournament open to PC gamers starting on Thursday, 20 January at 19:30.
- Rocket League cup – 3v3 tournament open to PC, Xbox and PlayStation gamers starting on Thursday, 20 January at 19:30.
- Garena Free Fire cup – Solos battle royale tournament open to mobile gamers starting on Saturday, 22 January at 14:00.
- Valorant cup – 5v5 tournament open to PC gamers starting on Saturday, 22 January at 14:00.
Registration for any of these Cash Cups from Mettlestate is completely free.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R500
- 2nd place – R300
- 3rd place – R200
