ATK wins Telkom VS Gaming League of Legends Championship

Over the past weekend, the Telkom VS Gaming League of Legends Championship finished up, as we saw some great casting and local teams compete. Here’s what went down at the Telkom VS Gaming League of Legends Championship playoffs for Season 8.

Telkom VS Gaming League of Legends results

First up, the group stage finished with Royalty Esports (the 2019 champions) easily ending on top of Group B, and the ATK Arena team doing the same in Group A.

When it came to the playoffs, ATK Arena’s team saw their first opponent forfeit, and then faced off against Royalty Esports in Round 2 of the Winner’s Bracket. ATK knocked Royalty down with a score of 2-0 and continued on to beat EVO | Enigma for a spot in the grand final.

Royalty Esports fought their way through Mad Synergy and GG.Black before facing off against EVO | Enigma in the loser’s bracket final. The 2019 champions were shut down by EVO | Enigma, and the grand final was set.

In the grand final, EVO | Enigma faced off against ATK GooN Squad. ATK’s League of Legends team took no prisoners, despatching of EVO | Enigma with relative ease to become the VS Gaming League of Legends Champions for 2020 with a 2-0 victory.

The top three placements are:
  • ATK GooN Squad
  • EVO | Enigma
  • Royalty Esports
