The ASUS ROG Invitational live this weekend

This weekend, the Vodacom rAge Expo plays host to the ASUS ROG Invitational playoffs. Eight teams will compete for their share of R150,000 in this CS:GO tournament.

The eight teams comprise of four invited teams and four qualifying teams who will face off over the weekend of the expo in a double elimination bracket. The action will be available live at the venue and via the Mettlestate Twitch channel. The broadcast team consists of host Gareth Woods, and casters Thulani “LighteR” Sishi and Ashton “Golz” Muller.

Goliath Gaming, Big 5 Esports, Sinister 5 and Energy Esports all secured invites to the tournament, while Good Gaming, Omnius Gaming, White Rabbit Gaming and the Gentlemen’s Club secured their place via the recent qualifiers.

The first match starts at 9am on Friday 27 September with Goliath Gaming and Omnius Gaming. The tournament continues until the grand final on Sunday 29 September at 12pm.

  • 1st Place: R60,000
  • 2nd Place: R40,000
  • 3rd Place: R30,000
  • 4th Place: R12,500
  • 5th/6th Place: R3,750
