ESL Pro League S15 group results

With the war in Ukraine going on, two Russian teams, Gambit and Virtus.pro, changed their names to “Players” and “Outsiders” respectively in order to compete.

In Group A, we saw NIP come out on top, followed by Entropiq in second place, and Fnatic in third place. Both G2 Esports and Mouz were surprisingly eliminated. In Group B, FURIA Esports topped the group, followed by ENCE in second place, and FaZe Clan in third. This means that another shock elimination occurred, with Vitality dropping out of the tournament, alongside “Outsiders”.

There were even more upsets, with Group C’s top placement going to Movistar Riders, followed by “Players” and Team Liquid, which means that German powerhouse squad BIG could not make it through. In Group D, we saw the highest-rated team in the world, Na’Vi, come out on top, despite the ongoing war. Group D was the only group without any big upsets, as Heroic placed second, and Astralis placed third.
