Following the fantastic IEM Katowice 2022 event, the next big, S-Tier CS:GO esports tournament is none other than ESL Pro League Season 15. This LAN event, taking place in Germany, features the top teams in the world, fighting for a huge prize pool. So CS:GO esports fans don’t miss out on any of the action, we’ve got a viewer’s guide for ESL Pro League Season 15.

ESL Pro League S15 details

ESL Pro League Season 15 kicks off on 9 March 2022 and runs until 10 April 2022. 24 of the best teams in the world will compete for their share of the $823,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R12.6 million. The winner will also get a direct invitation to the BLAST Premier World Final 2022.

The group stage follows a round-robin format with all matches being best-of-three. Playoffs feature a single-elimination bracket, with all matches being best of three, with the exception of the grand finals, which is a best-of-five affair. The playoffs run from 5 to 10 April 2022.

ESL recently banned Russian organizations and sponsors from the EPL following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. However, the players will still be allowed to compete with a neutral name. At the time of writing, it is unclear what Gambit and Virtus.pro will be called during the tournament.
