Cloud9 eliminated from ESL Pro League Season 12

Earlier this month, we reported on Cloud9’s current CS:GO squad and how the organization is looking for a new home as they are entering a rebuilding phase. The squad, which includes two South African players and a coach, still played in the ESL Pro League Season 12: North America under the organization’s banner.

Unfortunately, Cloud9’s CS:GO team didn’t manage to qualify for the playoffs at ESL Pro League Season 12: North America. The squad got eliminated from the tournament, even though they still have one match left to go. No matter what happens in their last match later today on 22 September, they have been eliminated.

Cloud9’s performance at ESL Pro League S12
  • FURIA 2 – 1 Cloud9
  • Cloud9 2 – 0 Triumph
  • Team Liquid 2 – 1 Cloud9
  • 100 Thieves 2 – 1 Cloud9
  • Chaos Esports Club 2 – 0 Cloud9

The current Cloud9 squad still has one match left to play at ESL Pro League Season 12. The team will be playing against Gen.G Esports tonight, 22 September at 19:00 SAST.

At the time of writing, it looks like this might be the last time we see the CS:GO squad with two South African players and a coach compete under the Cloud9 banner.

You can show your support for these great South African players and their international teammates by watching the match live on ESL CS:GO Twitch.tv channel or on the YouTube channel.
