Cold War cups from ACGL taking place this week

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War only released on 13 November for PC and consoles, and exactly how big of an esports title it will be is still unknown. However, judging by past franchise releases, it will be huge in South Africa. With this in mind, you probably want to get some competitive practice in as soon as possible?

That’s where South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL)’s Black Ops Cold War cups come in, which could give you some great, early Black Ops Cold War competitive experience.

ACGL Black Ops Cold War cups

First thing’s first. There are no cash prizes for these Black Ops Cold War cups from ACGL. Consider this some entertaining, competitive practice while we wait for tournament organizers and sponsors to drop some prizes on the latest Call of Duty title.

With that being said, you can join a total of four Black Ops Cold War cups over on ACGL. Two are scheduled to take place tonight, 19 November, and two will take place this Sunday. Check out the schedule for these cups, which are all SND, below:

The winners of each cup will receive a Gold trophy on their ACGL profile, while second places will receive a Silver trophy, and third places will receive a Bronze trophy.

Alongside the cups, ACGL is also hosting Cold War 2v2 matchfinders. Teams can either search between 18:00 and 22:00 each night, or set up challenges at a time that suits them.

As always, if you are interested in local esports action, you should follow ACGL on TwitterFacebook, as well as join their Discord server.
