ASTRO CoD Championship Season 1 concludes this weekend
This weekend, four teams battle for their share of R50,000 cash in the Mettlestate ASTRO Call of Duty Championship.
Bravado Gaming, Energy Esports, Hi5 eSports and Origin Esports will face off in a double elimination bracket on Saturday 18 August from 10am. Bravado Gaming probably head into the playoffs as favorites along with Energy Esports after both teams finished top three at the recent EGE LAN event.
You will be able to catch the action on Mettlestate’s Twitch channel, with the schedule looking as follows:
- 10:00 – Bravado Gaming vs Hi5 eSports
- 11:30 – Energy Esports vs Origin Esports
- 13:00 – Lower Bracket Semi-Final
- 14:30 – Upper Bracket Final
- 16:00 – Lower Bracket Final
- 18:30 – Grand Final
The R50,000 prize pool is distributed as follows:
- 1st place: R25,000
- 2nd place: R15,000
- 3rd place: R10,000
The ASTRO Call of Duty Championship concludes on the same weekend as the Call of Duty world also watches the Call of Duty World League Championships.
