Warzone OTs 9 gunsmith setup for competitive gamers

Activision unleashed the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update last week and dropped the biggest balance changes in Warzone history. Those who love playing Warzone competitively know just how important picking the correct loadout is, and with the aforementioned balance changes, you might be wondering what type of gunsmith setup you can use.

With the update also comes a new SMG, the OTs 9. This tiny-but-deadly gun is quickly becoming part of the meta, and if you want to get the most out of the OTs 9, you will need the best gunsmith setup.

Best OTs 9 gunsmith setup

First off, the OTs 9 is a full-auto SMG that has some fantastic firepower at close range combat, and great visibility while firing. It has reliable recoil control as well. However, there’s a caveat: the OTs 9 does have a smaller magazine size than you might find on most other SMGs.

This is addressed in our best gunsmith setup for the OTs 9 for the competitive gamer. We’ve considered multiple attachments to use, and settled on the following setup:

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 8.1″ Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
  • Ammo: VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

Since the OTs 9 has very clean iron sights, no optic is needed to get the job done. The recoil control is also excellent, and skilled players should have no problem handling the OTs 9 with this setup. While you can swap out the Bruiser Grip and the Serpent Wrap for something else, we do recommend you stay with the GRU Suppressor, 8.1″ Task Force barrel, and the VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag.

This gunsmith setup is designed for close-quarters, fast-paced combat. It is best used with a sniper or marksmen rifle, with our top recommendation being the Kar98k. Good luck in Verdansk! We hope this setup helps out both new and veteran players get ahead of the competition.
