Mettlestate Cash Cups this week | 16 to 22 January 2023
South African tournament organizer Mettlestate always has a bunch of tournaments and events for local gamers to enjoy. Part of their arsenal is the Mettlestate Cash Cups, which run each week, with either four or five different titles for South Africans to compete in. Here are this week’s Mettlestate Cash Cup details.
Mettlestate Cash Cups this week
This week, there are a total of five (5) Cash Cups from Mettlestate to participate in, starting with MultiVersus. We definitely have a good variety to look forward to.
Check out all the essential details for this week’s cash cups below, with information sourced via the Mettlestate event page. Please note: Times are South African Standard Time (SAST).
- MultiVersus cup – 2v2 tournament starting on Monday, 16 January 2023, at 19:30.
- Rocket League cup – 3v3 tournament starting on Tuesday, 17 January 2023, at 19:30.
- Clash of Clans cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Wednesday, 18 January 2023, at 19:30.
- FIFA 23 cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Thursday, 19 January 2023, at 19:30.
- Fortnite cup – Solos Battle Royale tournament starting on Saturday, 21 January, at 14:00.
Check-ins open a few hours before the tournaments get underway. All the tournaments are free to enter but feature a base prize pool of R1,000. That increases to R2,000 depending on the top three players’ VIP status.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R500 (R1,000 with VIP)
- 2nd place – R300 (R600 with VIP)
- 3rd place – R200 (R400 with VIP)
