Five Mettlestate cash cups this week
South African tournament organizer is hosting five cups this week. The cups kick off with FIFA21 tonight which we’ve already covered, followed by League of Legends, then Mortal Kombat 11, Magic: The Gathering Arena and lastly, a 2v2 CS:GO cup.
Mettlestate cups: Important details
Each of the Mettlestate cups taking place this week features an R1,000 prize pool. Registration for all these cups is free to enter, making them not-to-be-missed opportunities for South African gamers. You can head on over to the Mettlestate website to register for the cups you want to enter.
The prize pool distribution for all these cups is:
- 1st place – R500
- 2nd place – R300
- 3rd place – R200
Mettlestate cup schedule:
- FIFA21 cup – This is a 1v1 cup for PlayStation gamers that kicks off on 8 March 2021 at 18:00 SAST.
- League of Legends cup – This is a 5v5 cup that will kick off on 9 March 2021 at 18:00 SAST.
- Mortal Kombat 11 cup – 1v1 cup for PlayStation gamers. Kicks off on 10 March 2021 at 18:00 SAST.
- Magic: The Gathering Arena cup – 1v1 cup for PC gamers. Begins on 11 March 2021 at 18:00 SAST.
- CS:GO cup – This is a 2v2 cup for PC gamers. It begins on 13th March 2021 at 14:00 SAST.
Mettlestate is planning even more weekly cash cups for the next weeks, and it will be exciting to see which titles feature in the future. The tournament organizer also announced bi-weekly Super Cups with R5,000 in prize money, as well as Ultra Cups with R10,000 in prize money every two months. At the time of writing, little information about these bigger cups is available.
