South African Valorant tournament from ACGL taking place this weekend

The ACGL Valorant tournaments have seen some great turnouts from local gamers so far. While Valorant is still a very new esports title, and it doesn’t even have South African servers just yet, ACGL is supporting those local gamers who want to get into the action early with Valorant cups.

ACGL Valorant cup details

This Saturday, on 5 July 2020, the third ACGL Valorant cup, called Savage Squads, will take place. Registrations for the cup are now open. Deadline for registration is 5 July at 13:55. You can do your check-in with your squad from 13:00 to 13:55, and the cup officially kicks off at 14:00.

Grab four friends and join the Valorant Savage Squads cup by heading to the tournament’s ACGL page.

The cup will take place in a best-of-one, double-elimination format. There aren’t any prizes involved, but the winning team will get a nice gold trophy on your ACGL profile, There’s also a silver trophy and a bronze trophy for the second and third place respectively.

Why would you join a tournament without prize money? Well, for fun, valuable experience in competitive Valorant, and because local is lekker.
