New Valorant Agent ISO abilities and ultimate
With Valorant Episode 7 Act 3, developer Riot Games has unleashed a powerful and fun new Agent, namely ISO. The latest update, v7.09, was recently unleashed, and since Valorant is all the rage thanks to local servers, we thought it would be prudent to give you some details on ISO. Let’s get started!
Valorant ISO details
First, a bit of lore to get the blood flowing, with an official description of the new Duelist, ISO:
“Chinese fixer for hire Iso goes into a flow state to dismantle the opposition. Reconfiguring ambient energy into bulletproof protection, he advances with focus towards his next duel to the death.”
So now to the most important details: ISO’s abilities and ultimate, so you know if this Agent fits your playstyle and what to expect when you encounter it on the enemy team.
- UNDERCUT (Q) – EQUIP a molecular bolt. Fire to throw it forward, applying a brief FRAGILE to all players it touches. The bolt can pass through solid objects, including walls.
- DOUBLE TAP (E) – START a focus timer. Once completed, enter a flow state during which downed enemies you kill or damage generate an energy orb. Shooting this orb grants you a shield which absorbs one instance of damage from any source.
- CONTINGENCY (C) – EQUIP to assemble prismatic energy. FIRE to push an indestructible wall of energy forward that blocks bullets.
- KILL CONTRACT (X) – EQUIP an interdimensional arena. FIRE to hurl a column of energy through the battlefield, pulling you and the first enemy hit into the arena. You and your opponent duel to the death.
Will ISO shake up the meta? That’s hard to tell at this point, but the new Duelist does seem quite powerful and will likely be picked a lot in the next few months.
