Season Two of the PES 2020 ACGL series announced
ACGL, along with tournament partners Konami and GameFinity, have announced the second season in their eFootball PES 2020 series.
As with season one last year, there is R5,000 cash up for grabs. The tournament will be played online and on PlayStation 4. The format will see players compete in a round robin group phase, into a double elimination playoff.
Registrations are now open, and will close on 15 March 2020. Group matches will be playable from 16 March until 12 April. The playoffs will be held on Sunday 19 April.
Prize pool
The prize pool will be split between the top four players as follows:
- 1st Place: R2,500
- 2nd Place: R1,500
- 3rd Place: R600
- 4th Place: R400
The local Pro Evolution Soccer community is quietly becoming an active one, with the PES Society hosting regular local events for the title. This weekend, there is a PES vs FIFA event hosted by them and Zombiegamer.
