The Rand Show 2020 will feature six days of competitive gaming

Mettlestate, Rush Esports and Vodacom 4U are teaming up to bring six days of competitive gaming to The Rand Show 2020. It is sure to be an event that local gamers and esports teams shouldn’t miss out on. The Rand Show 2020 takes place from 8 to 13 April 2020. The event will be packed with a plethora of activities and things experience in six zones. Obviously, what we are most interested in is the competitive gaming aspect.

Competitive gaming at The Rand Show 2020

Mettlestate and Rush Esports have partnered up in the past for RUSH 2018 and 2019. At the aforementioned events, Mettlestate produced events for FIFA, Fortnite and the WESG 2019/2020 Southern African Qualifiers. If you attended one of their events in the past, you will know just how great and professional these are.

Now, the announcement as per NAG.co.za explains that there will be six days of competitive gaming at the Festival of Gaming, which forms part of The Rand Show 2020. At the time of writing, specifics including the titles on offer as this will be revealed closer to the event. What we do know is that there will be something for every type of gamer, from the casual fan/player to the hardcore esports fans.

Mettlestate’s  Barry Louzada, had this to say in the NAG.co.za announcement:

Tickets to the Rand Show can be purchased online or at the door:

  • Standard Day Pass – R150 at the door / R130 online (price valid only until 31 March 2020. After March, R150)
  • Kids Day Pass – R80 at the door / R70 online (price valid only until 31 March 2020. After March, R80)
  • Pensioners Day Pass – R80 at the door / R70 online (price valid only until 31 March 2020. After March, R80)
  • Family Pass – R460 at the door / R400 online (price valid only until 31 March 2020. After March, R460)
  • Multi-day Pass – R400 online only (valid for one person for any 4 days)
