Friday Fight Night Vol 10 at ATK Arena this weekend
Local Tekken 7 players who happen to be in or near Cape Town this weekend can look forward to the 10th edition of Friday Fight Night. Here’s what you need to know about the latest Tekken Friday Fight Night from ATK Arena, which features a prize pool of R1,000.
Friday Fight Night details
The latest Tekken Friday Fight Night takes this Friday, 6 May 2022. Doors open at 18:00. The tournament bracket begins at 18:30 sharp and it is expected to run until 21:00.
There’s an R50 entry fee. This gets you into the venue and into the tournament. You can register via the tournament’s Smash.gg page. You can also purchase tickets at the door. As mentioned at the start of this article, the tournament features a prize pool of R1,000 to fight for.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R500
- 2nd place – R300
- 3rd place – R200
Settings and rules:
- Rounds: 3 out of 5.
- Time Limit: 60 seconds.
- Stage: Random.
- Character Customizations: Off.
- Character Preset Costumes are legal for Tournament use with the exception of the following: Jack-7 Preset 3 & 4 cannot be used. Gigas Preset 3 cannot be used.
- When losing, players can either choose to change the stage OR change their character. If a player changes character the next game’s stage will be Random.
- Rock/Paper/Scissors is played before the game to determine which side each player will sit on.

Participants are advised to bring their own fight stick or PS4 controller and a cable as there is a limited number to lend.
