FIFA 23 eKasi Community Tournament is taking place in Strand this weekend

If you happen to be in the Western Cape, in or near Cape Town (Strand area) and love competing in some FIFA 23 matches against local gamers, then you are in for a treat this weekend. Kicking off the year with a bang, The Toyota Gaming Engine (TTGE), African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) and Kasi Gamerz bring you the first FIFA 23 eKasi Community tournament of the year. Here’s what you need to know.

FIFA 23 eKasi Community Tournament details

This weekend, the first eKasi FIFA tournament of the year will take place. It starts on Saturday, 14 January 2023, at 09:00 when check-ins open. Following the check-in process, matches will start at 11:00 SAST.

It is completely free to enter the Ekasi Community Tournament. You will, however, have to be at the location of the event since there is no online option to join in. Only walk-in registrations are available, so you can’t register online.

As mentioned at the start of this article, it takes place in Strand, Western Cape. The event location is Solomon Qatyane School. The address of the school is: Ihlathi Drive Asanda Village, Strand, Cape Town, 7140

The announcement also notes that there will be “Cash up for grabs” in the Ekasi Community Tournament this weekend. At the time of writing, an exact prize pool or distribution is unknown.
