FC Pro 26 World Championship results & final standings
The football (soccer) esports fans were cheering their hearts out at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 mega-event taking place in Paris, France. Watching the FC Pro 26 World Championship was a joy, as the best 36 players from across the globe competed for their share of a huge prize pool.
To be specific, 36 players were fighting for a heap of Club Championship points to help their team, and $1,045,000 in prize money. At the current exchange rate, that’s roughly R17.5 million. The action took place from 22 to 26 July 2026.
We watched on as 22-year-old Romanian player Razvan “RvPLegend” Puiu from team HYPERSPIRIT made an incredible run all the way from the Play-Ins to the main event to form part of the 36 teams competing. He narrowly made it out of the Group Stage in 11th place with a 3–1–2 record and a +4 goal difference.
In the Knockout Stage of the FC Pro 26 World Championship, RvPLegend went into beast mode. He defeated Umut 6-3, GugaFerraz 7-3, Alihan 5-4, Nassada 10-8, and ultimately won the Grand Final in a thriller of a match with a 6-5 score against German powerhouse levyfinn.
