ATK FIFA Fridays feature R1,000 prize pool on 18 Feb

South African esports organization ATK Arena is hosting another ATK FIFA Fridays this weekend. If you are in Cape Town or surrounding areas and can make it to ATK’s venue, there’s some great FIFA 22 esports action to enjoy. Here are the must-know details.

ATK FIFA Fridays 18 Feb details

From 17:00 to 20:00 SAST this Friday, 18 January 2022, ATK Arena will be hosting the next ATK FIFA Fridays event. This is a FIFA 22 tournament to be played on PS4 and PS5 consoles. You can register for the event by heading to its Challonge page.

The format features a double-elimination bracket. It is a 1v1 tournament featuring a total of up to 24 players. Despite the entry being completely free, there’s a prize pool of R1,000 up for grabs.

Prize pool distribution:
  • 1st place – R500
  • 2nd place – R300
  • 3rd place – R200

Remember, no mask = no entry, as everyone should keep safe during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

This event does not feature an online component. It will be played directly from ATK Arena’s venue. There are, therefore, limited spots (24) available, so register without delay so you don’t miss it. ATK Arena’s address is 91 Main Road, Claremont, Stadium on Main Parkade, Ground Floor Level 1, Cape Town, South Africa, 7708.

ATK Arena’s Covid policy:

“Compliance with our prevention methods is essential when visiting the Arena. Upon arrival, each customer is subject to a temperature check, hand sanitisation and is required to sign in. All surfaces including PCs & equipment are sanitised after each use. In addition, we have implemented social distancing by ensuring sufficient distance between PCs. Masks are to be worn at all times and regular sanitisation is encouraged.”
