New Energy Esports Dota 2 roster announced

One of the top esports organizations in South Africa, Energy Esports, has announced their new Dota 2 roster for 2020 and beyond. This announcement comes just over a week after their new CS:GO roster, so the MGO is definitely making some moves and both their new lineups look very strong, to say the least.

The team is filled with some top local Dota 2 talent. Adam “Adastam” Moore has moved from Sinister5 over to Energy Esports. Sinister5 revealed on Twitter that: “With a very heavy heart, we bid farewell to one of our longest-serving warriors, Adastam. He will always be a big part of our history!”

Let’s take a look at the new Energy Esports Dota 2 roster:

  • Frans “Mental” Roos (captain)
  • Adam “Adastam” Moore
  • Charl “Welp” Geldenhuys
  • Tameer “TKC” Chicktay
  • Aidan “Depe” Marshall

A few members of Energy Esports gave short comments on a Facebook post about the new Dota 2 roster. Check these out below.

The director of Energy Esports, Kas, talks about the lineup:

“Extremely happy to have such talented players join us at Energy Esports. We know fully what they are capable of and are looking forward to their performances in the games to come.”

Frans “Mental” Roos is very confident in his team:

“We’re thrilled to be representing Energy this year. With this roster, I’m confident we can improve on last year’s results, where we were one gold medal short of a local clean sweep. Hopefully, we can showcase some exciting Dota along the way.”

Adam “Adastam” Moore talks about his return to Energy Esports:

“Super stoked to be playing for Energy Esports once again. The new lineup has some insane talent and I can’t wait to see what we can bring to the table this year.”

This new Energy Esports roster looks extremely strong right now and we can’t wait to see them perform.
