BLAST Slam VIII Playoffs Stage taking place this weekend
It’s been awesome to watch the best Dota 2 esports teams in the world compete at the BLAST Slam VIII event. It started with 16 teams, and now we are down to just eight, primed and ready for a weekend of Dota 2 at the BLAST Arena Studios venue in Malta.
We’ve seen quite a few upsets in the Group Stage. Most notably, Chinese powerhouse Extreme Gaming couldn’t make it out of Group A. NAVI fell in Group B without one win, BetBoom and MOUZ got smacked out of the tournament after poor performances in Group C, and in Group D, Team Liquid were eliminated early.
Yup, that’s a whole lot of upsets. Now, only eight remain with a shot at glory and lifting the coveted trophy. We are going to watch all the BLAST Slam VIII Playoffs Stage matches from 8 to 11 October 2026, and so should you. Don’t worry, we’ve got fans covered!
