CS2 LAN kill record for single map smashed

Are you a competitive or semi-competitive Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) player? Do you want something to aspire to? Then how about trying to match the CS2 LAN kill record, just for fun, of course!

It’s important to note that to break this record, it must be in an official tournament on LAN. With that being said, a new LAN kill record for a single map has been set by 23-year-old Bulgarian player Slaven “AwaykeN” Lyubenov.

The record was set at the Urban Riga Open Season 7 tournament, which took place live on LAN in Riga, Latvia. Slaven “AwaykeN” Lyubenov played for INFURITY versus Inner Circle Academy, and his team lost 29-31 after sextuple overtime.

The previous LAN kill record was 60, held by Alexander “Altekz” Givskov. Overall in CS2 (both online and LAN), the record of 67 kills on a single map is held by MOUZ’s young new star, Adrian “xelex” Vincze.

Do you think you could hit that number of kills in a public game? Try to find out! Sure, it won’t count as a record, but still, the amount of effort to actually get to over 60 kills on a single map is incredible. Well done to Slaven “AwaykeN” Lyubenov.
