The organizers of the famed BLAST Pro Series for CS:GO are bringing their expertise to Dota 2 fans with the BLAST Bounty Hunt Dota 2 online tournament. This is a unique Dota 2 online tournament for fans to enjoy, featuring some of the top European teams.

BLAST Bounty Hunt Dota 2 details

The BLAST Bounty Hunt Dota 2 tournament takes place from 9 to 13 June 2020, and will offer something different compared to regular Dota 2 tournaments.

There’s a total prize pool of $150,000, with $145,000 going to competing teams, while the other $5,000 will be distributed to fans. Yes, you might be able to earn some cash money, as explained by the organizers:

“$5,000 from the prize pool will be open for fans at home to win the Fan Prediction Game. Fans will be able to predict the winners of each match, the number of bounties collected and a couple of exciting other twists and turns throughout the tournament. This new innovation brings the fans even closer to the action, highs and lows and gives the winner cold hard cash.”

Dynamic Prize Pool

“The aim of the dynamic prize pool is to create real reward and tension during every match. Every match takes on greater significance because there is extra bonus money available during each match that the teams can bank. Each match they play they add to their bank through winning and collecting bonuses.

Teams start with $15,000 (Seed 1+2 start with $20.000), 40% of their bounty is up for grabs every time they compete against another. $45.000 of Additional Bounties can be won along the way.

A winning team with an unbeaten record could walk away with up to $51,120 plus with additional bounties won, teams can be winning up to $96,000.”

Furthermore, there are additional bounties to make fans part of the tournament, which fans can vote on. One lucky fan who casts a vote will have their nickname as part of the Bounty name.
