New Dota 2 hero Muerta announced
In case you missed it, Valve announced a new Dota 2 hero during The International 2022‘s finals this past weekend. The hero is called Muerta, following Primal Beast, who was also revealed at the massive annual esports event and released on 23 February 2022.

We know that Muerta will release in “early 2022”. Valve didn’t, however, reveal the hero’s abilities, but from the trailer, we suspect this hero will be a ranged-type carry hero with powerful auto attacks via its flintlock pistol.
Further, the trailer showcases what appears to be Muerta transforming, and we expect her powers to be orientated towards the moonlight, possibly light Night Stalker, becoming more potent during the nighttime.
The only official description of Muerta thus far reads: “An enduring revenant reveals herself with promises of a ruinous reckoning to follow. Pierce the veil between the living and the damned as a new hero — Muerta — arrives to haunt the lanes in early 2023.”
We can’t wait to learn more about the new Dota 2 hero Muerta’s abilities, and all we can do now is speculate. Thankfully, one thing that we do know is Valve does plan on releasing Muerta in early 2023, so it won’t be THAT long before we can test it out. We will update our readers once official information becomes available.
