BLAST Fall Showdown Europe & American results & highlights

We recently got treated to the BLAST Fall Showdown Europe and American events, where CS:GO teams competed for two spots at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups. This was one of the final big CS:GO events now that Counter-Strike 2 is over, and it did not disappoint. Here’s what went down!

BLAST Fall Showdown EU & America results

In the European event, eight teams fought their hearts out for a piece of the $67,500 and one spot at BLAST Premier Fall Groups. You can continue reading to find out what went down at both events or watch the video showcasing highlights from both finals below.

We saw Cloud9 eliminating Movistar Riders 2-0, narrowly beating G2 Esports 2-1, and then sweeping BIG on Ancient and Anubis to claim a spot at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups event.

In the American event, Complexity, led by South African IGL Johnny “JT” Theodosiou and coach Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen, came out swinging, knocking Evil Geniuses out with a clean 2-0 in the quarterfinals.

Complexity continued with a 2-1 reverse sweep against Brazillian powerhouse FURIA Esports and finished off proceedings by completely demolishing Team Liquid 2-0 in the final.

A big congratulations go out to Complexity and Cloud9 for earning their spots in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups tournament.
