ATK Fe becomes first female team to enter ESEA Main Division South Africa

In November 2022, ATK Fe, ATK Arena’s female CS:GO squad, competed at the ESL Impact League Season 2 in Sweden. On the local front, they’ve also been grinding in the ESEA Intermediate Division South Africa, where they managed to make local esports history.

ATK Female qualifies for ESEA Main Division

ATK Female, having placed 2nd in the ESEA Intermediate Division South Africa, has become the first local team to qualify for the Main Division, where they will compete in Season 44. The team will compete against the best that local CS:GO esports has to offer.

ATK Fe managed to win $400 in the Intermediate Division for their 2nd-place finish in Season 43. They lost 2-0 to ExpliZit Gaming during the finals, but that takes nothing away from their historic achievement.

Starting on 17 or 18 January 2023, ATK Fe will begin their journey in ESEA Main Division South Africa Season 44, where they will compete against the following teams:

  • Azerbaijani Rebels
  • Shauns Pawns
  • Goliath Gaming
  • VYBN
  • Bravado Gaming
  • Vdrxp Gaming
  • Nixuh

In a news post from ATK Arena, the squad’s co-captain, Christie “Graceyy” Webster, said: “Even though this is the first of many steps of our journey as a team. We are extremely proud of ourselves for how much we have grown throughout the year – We are excited to be able to learn and grow by playing against the top South African teams in the upcoming ESEA season. Growth and consistency take time, and we are here for that.”

We can’t wait to see what ATK Female does during ESEA Main Division South Africa Season 44, and we will keep our readers in the loop!
