ROG Invitational IV announced with R25,000 prize pool
South African tournament organizer Mettlestate, in partnership with ASUS ROG, and powered by Intel, has announced the ROG Invitational IV tournament, this time featuring Call of Duty: Vanguard! The tournament features a huge R25,000 prize pool, so local Call of Duty players, teams and fans definitely shouldn’t miss out. Here’s what you need to know.
ROG Invitational IV details
Registration for the ROG Invitational IV featuring Call of Duty: Vanguard is now open. It is completely free to enter. All players need to do is grab three other friends, create a team and head on over to the tournament’s dedicated page on Mettlestate to enter.
This is a 4v4 Call of Duty: Vanguard tournament open to PC gamers. It kicks off on 14 March with the Round Robin group stage, followed by a playoffs stage where all matches are best-of-three. Then, on 9 April, the grand finals of the ROG Invitational IV will take place. The grand final is best-of-five.
As we’ve mentioned earlier in this article, there’s a huge R25,000 prize pool to fight for. Check out the prize pool distribution below.
- 1st place – R10,000
- 2nd place – R8,000
- 3rd place – R4,000
- 4th place – R3,000
The schedule:
- 13 March – Registration period ends.
- 14 March – Group stage begins.
- 3 April – Group stage ends.
- 4 April – Playoff bracket begins.
- 8 April – Playoff bracket ends.
- 9 April – Grand finals.
