COD Mobile South African payments now live!

Attention, Call of Duty: Mobile players! We’ve got some fantastic news to share. You can now purchase Call of Duty Points (COD Points or CP) and Battle Passes for the latest COD Mobile season on the Carry1st Shop through Pay1st, Carry1st’s payments platform, in local currency.

The system is now live. You can simply head on over to the Carry1st shop and select the product you wish to purchase, then enter your Call of Duty: Mobile UID before completing payment with Rand! Once you’ve completed the process, whatever you’ve purchased will instantly and directly show up on your COD Mobile account, without the need to jump through hoops via voucher codes.

Below, you can take a look at some quotes from top people involved in bringing this system to South Africa, as per a press release we’ve recently received.

Spencer Ma, the Pay1st Growth Lead, explains:

“We’re thrilled to grow our alliance with Call of Duty: Mobile. After successfully teaming up in South Africa in 2022, we are delighted to expand our relationship to better serve a growing audience across the continent. With the integration of Pay1st, we’re enabling African gamers to make purchases through local payment methods and in local currency on the Carry1st Shop.”

The Head of COD Mobile, Jeff Gullett, states:

“We’re excited to join forces with Carry1st once again, after our successful collaboration last year when we launched servers in South Africa. By integrating Carry1st’s payment platform, we are opening up access for millions more gamers in the region to engage with Call of Duty: Mobile. Africa represents an important user base, and through our partnership with Carry1st we can continue to meet their needs.”

Well done, Carry1st, well done! Clearly, you are putting South African gamers and esports enthusiasts first! Back in 2022, Carry1st was also involved in the successful launch of local servers for COD Mobile, in case you didn’t know.
