COD Mobile esports events at Comic Con Africa
We recently reported on South Africa getting dedicated Call of Duty: Mobile servers and the celebration thereof at Comic Con Africa. Now, we are excited to report about COD Mobile esports events for you to sink your teeth into. Here’s what you need to know.
COD Mobile esports at CCA
From 22 to 25 September, Comic Con Africa attendees can join in for some fun COD Mobile sports events. These events come from African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) and local games publisher, Carry1st. Simply head on over to B705 in hall 7 at Comic Con Africa each day to enjoy some events and maybe even win some prizes in the process.
As per ACGL’s announcement, there will be a Battle Royale leaderboard, alongside free-for-all lobbies, with prizes up for grabs. Players can use their own mobile device to compete.
For the Battle Royale leaderboard, you can jump into a solo match of COD Mobile BR mode and then share your kills with one of the admins at booth B705. This adds you to the daily leaderboard, with the following prizes:
- 1st Place: 1000 COD Points
- 2nd to 5th Place: 560 COD Points each
- The highest score from the weekend will secure an additional 2000 COD Points.
As mentioned earlier, there are also some free-for-all lobbies to participate in, with merchandise to be won. Check out the prizes below.
- Winner of 1 match gets a Wristband
- Winner of 2 matches gets a Draw Bag
- Winner of 3 matches gets a Shirt
- Winner of 4 matches Gets a Cap
- Winner of 5 matches gets a Hoodie
