The CHOC Cup Fortnite Solos event this Friday
The Punishers Organization presents the CHOC Cup, hosted by Elite Pro Series. This Friday, local Fortnite players can enter this Solos tournament with a prize pool of R4,000. This isn’t your average local Fortnite tournament, as it aims to give back with half of the prize pool going CHOC, the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa. Here’s what you need to know.
The CHOC Cup details
The CHOC Cup is a Solos battle royale Fortnite tournament. Registration for the tournament is completely free, so head on over to its page on the Elite Pro Series Website now. Registrations open two hours before the tournament begins. The CHOC Cup takes place this Friday, 4 February 2022, on World Cancer Day.
The action begins at 18:00 SAST. This is a one-day event with max players of 100. It is open to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and mobile gamers.
Prize pool distribution:
1st place – R1000 to player + R1000 donated to CHOC.
2nd place – R700 to player + R700 donated to CHOC.
3rd place – R300 to player + R300 donated to CHOC.
With such a great cause and some Fortnite esports action, we urge local gamers to join in on the fun.
Points system:
- Victory Royale: 60 Points
- 2nd: 55 Points
- 3rd: 50 Points
- 4th – 50th: 1 Point Each
- Each Elimination: 3 Points
