Gematrix Apex Legends tournament taking place this month

Team Gematrix, an esports organization based in Zambia, is having an online Apex Legends tournament later this month, and it is open to countries from Sub-Saharan Africa, including South Africa. Here’s what you need to know about Gematrix’s Apex Legends tournament.

Gematrix Apex Legends details

First of all, you can head on over to the Apex Legends tournament page on the Gematrix website to register. This is a Trios tournament, so remember to bring your friends along. Registration will set you back 50 Zambian kwacha (K). This is less than R50 at the current K to Rand exchange rate.

The Gematrix Apex Legends tournament takes place on 19 February at 19:00 CAT. Once registered, we urge you to join the Gematrix Discord server. The tournament will consist of no more than 20 teams (3 players each).

There’s a total prize pool of K1,300. At the current K to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R1,100. Check out the prize pool distribution below.

  • 1st place – K700
  • 2nd place – K450
  • 3rd place – K150
