As is tradition, another week brings another batch of cash cups from South African tournament organizer Mettlestate. Let’s just jump straight in and discuss the most important details that local gamers should know about this new batch of events.
Cash Cups from Mettlestate this week
There are five (5) Cash Cups from Mettlestate taking place this week. It looks like all the tournaments are sponsored by Knorr. They all feature cash prizes and run on active days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday).
You can enter as many as you want for free. All the important details, including the titles, registration links, start date/time (SAST), and tournament format, are outlined below. Apologies, this week’s Cash Cup article is a bit late due to a technical issue.
- Marvel Rivals Cup – 6v6 tournament starting on Monday, 12 October 2026, at 19:30.
- eFootball Cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, at 19:30.

Please note: The information about the Cash Cups above has been sourced from the Mettlestate event page. All times in the list below are in SAST. The tournament organizer may add more events at short notice, so check their page periodically for updates.
As always, registration for these tournaments closes about one to two hours before the events begin, with check-in during the hour before. All tournaments are free to enter and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on participants’ Premium (VIP) status.
Prize pool distribution:
