Apex Legends Mobile gets new mobile-exclusive character

As one of the best battle royale titles out there, there is nearly any doubt that the mobile version of Apex Legends will become a smash hit in the esports scene. EA recently released Apex Legends Mobile Season 2, and with it, a brand-new exclusive legend called Rhapsody.

Apex Legends Mobile Rhapsody details

If you are into Apex Legends Mobile and play it competitively, maybe even practising for when it inevitably gets esports tournaments, then you need to stay up-to-date with new legends being added. This is especially true if a legend is mobile-exclusive.

Rhapsody brings the music to King’s Canyon and her abilities signify this with ease. Below, you can check out Rhapsody’s abilities and progression perks to understand how the legend works if you happen to run into her in a match.

Rhapsody abilities:
  • Passive: Gifted Ear -You pick up and visualize sounds from an extended range
  • Tactical: Hype Anthem -Play a powerful track that speeds up nearby squadmates and recharges shields. Taking damage will end the effect.
  • Ultimate Ability: Rowdy’s Rave -Rowdy projects a wall of flashing lights that blocks incoming sight and scans.
Rhapsody progression perks:
  • Volume Control – Squadmates affected by your Tactical temporarily gain Gifted Ear.
  • Sound Bleed -Occasionally see nearby 3D sound visualizations effects through walls.
  • Tuned In – Continuous running increases the range of Gifted Ear.
  • Reverb – The more squadmates your Tactical affects, the longer it lasts.
  • Harmony – Your Tactical increases the speed of revives and the effect of healing items.
  • Rowdy’s Rhythm – During your ultimate, squadmates standing near Rowdy reload faster.

We can’t help but wonder how Rhapsody will share Apex Legends Mobile’s meta, and if there will be some balance changes to the legend soon.
