ACGL announces February Vox Cup Series with R7,000 up for grabs
South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) in partnership with Vox Telecom has announced the Vox Cup Series tournament for February 2022. Fortnite and Call of Duty: Vanguard players should strap in, as there is one fantastic cup for each game to look forward to.
Vox Fortnite Customs
The Vox Fortnite Customs hosted by ACGL features a huge prize pool of R5,000. This is a solos tournament, and it’s completely free to enter. It runs from 1 to 22 February 2022 and features three qualifiers leading up to the finals on 22 February where players will duke it out for their share of the prize pool.
Schedule:
- 1 February – Qualifier 1
- 8 February – Qualifier 2
- 15 February – Qualifier 3
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R2,500
- 2nd place – R1,000
- 3rd place – R600
- 4th place – R500
- 5th place – R400
Registrations are currently open for all three of the qualifiers. If Fortnite isn’t your style, maybe some Call of Duty: Vanguard action?
Vox Vanguard Cash Cup
Just one day before Valentine’s Day, ACGL and Vox are spreading love with the Vox Vanguard Cash Cup. This 4vs4 tournament takes place on 13 February 2022. Just like the Fortnite Customs tournament, it is completely free to enter. The Vox Vanguard Cash Cup features a prize pool of R2,000.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R1,000
- 2nd place – R600
- 3rd place – R400
