The Bravado Gaming FIFA roster expands

FIFA seems to be the title of the moment in South Africa. With the R1,5 million VS Gamings eWorld Cup Qualifier happening this weekend, that’s not really a surprise at all.
Following hot on the heels of Goliath Gaming announcing their signing of a FIFA player, Bravado Gaming have announced an addition to their current FIFA roster. Masoom Fakie has joined the multi-gaming organisation (MGO) to expand their FIFA roster to three players.
Masoom is a very familar – and successful – face in the Cape Town FIFA scene, having participated in most of the tournaments hosted. One of his earliest tournament appearances was in 2014 where he placed top eight in a competitive R10,000 cash prize tournament hosted by Zombiegamer. Since then, he has placed first in the Cape Town ESWC qualifier, won EGE 2016 (and placed top four in 2017), won the Cape Town Esports tournament in 2017, and attended the FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC) Rest of the World Regional in Qatar in 2017, among many other achievements.
The Bravado Gaming FIFA roster now features:
- Wasim ‘Wass’ Rajah (c)
- Zaahid ‘Zaz’ Laher
- Masoom ‘Masoom’ Fakie
The team will be in action in the VS Gaming eWorld Cup Qualifier on 5 and 6 May in Montecasino. Some of the action will be streamed live if you can’t make it to the venue. Over 1,000 players (and a number of local celebrities) will be competing across PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for R1,5 million in cash and the spots at the FIFA Global Series Playoffs up for grabs.
