ACGL has four upcoming Valorant Cups for South Africans to enjoy
African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) has been at the forefront of bringing Valorant tournaments to South African gamers. After some weekly tournaments, the organization has decided to open up four more Valorant Cups, from now until 2 August 2020.
ACGL Valorant Cups
South African Valorant players are spoiled for choice this weekend, with the Mist Esports Invitational taking place, as well as an ACGL Valorant Savage Squads Cup.
On Twitter, ACGL announced:
“Since hosting our first Valorant cup a few weeks ago, the support for the title has continued. To celebrate, we have opened registrations for weekly cups until 2 Aug.”
All four Valorant Savage Squad cups will take place using a best-of-one, double-elimination format. While there aren’t any prizes involved, the winning team will get a nice gold trophy on your ACGL profile, There’s also a silver trophy and a bronze trophy for the second and third place respectively.
It is, however, the experience in competitive Valorant that’s the real prize here, not to mention a whole lot of local esports action to enjoy.

- 12 July at 14:00
- 19 July at 14:00
- 26 July at 14:00
- 2 August at 14:00
Registrations for all the cups above are now open, and you can head on over to the ACGL Valorant page to register. Make sure to register before the cups kick off on the times and dates above.
