Your guide to RLCS 2026 Kick-Off Weekend

As part of the new features in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2026 season, there’s an international event taking place soon. That’s right, the new RLCS 2026 Kick-Off Weekend occurs this weekend, and fans shouldn’t miss out. Here’s what you need to know.

RLCS 2026 Kick-Off Weekend details

Live from the BLAST Studios venue in Copenhagen, Denmark, eight qualified teams (from Europe and North America) will compete in the RLCS 2026 Kick-Off Weekend, the first LAN of the new season.

It serves as a conclusion to the Open #1 events for both regions, where teams will compete from 5 to 7 December 2025. On the final day of competition, the top two teams from each region will compete in a four-team bracket, and the winner will receive a direct invite to the Boston Major!

The winner will also secure their region an additional fifth slot at the Rocket League World Championship 2026, so that’s definitely a big deal.

So far, we know of four teams that have guaranteed themselves spots at the RLCS 2026 Kick-Off Weekend, namely:

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Karmine Corp
  • [REDACTED]
  • Spacestation Gaming

The tournament details and bracket are still being updated at the time of writing, including a list of all teams competing. You can check out the official tournament page here.

You can watch all the RLCS World Championship 2025 action by tuning in to the official Rocket League and RLesports channels on Twitch. Stay tuned to Esports Central as we’ll bring you the results of the tournament in case you couldn’t watch the matches live.
