RLCS 2024 SSA Open Qualifier 4 for Major 2 starts this weekend
If you are part of a Rocket League esports team, or you just want to watch some top-tier local players competing, then you shouldn’t miss out on the upcoming Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) qualifiers leading up to Major 2. Here’s what you need to know.
RLCS 2024 SSA Open Qualifier 4 details
You can get your team together if you meet the qualification requirements, and head on over to the event’s Start.gg page to register without delay.
The Schedule:
- Day 1 (Double Elimination) – Saturday April 20th 17:00 SAST
- Day 2 (Double Elimination) – Sunday April 21st 17:00 SAST
- Day 3 (Swiss Stage) – Friday April 26th 17:00 SAST
- Day 4 (Single Elimination) – Saturday April 27th 17:00 SAST
- Day 5 (Single Elimination) – Sunday April 28th 17:00 SAST
Prize Pool Distribution:
- 1st – $6,000
- 2nd – $2,400
- T-3rd – $1,200
- T-5th – $900
- T-9th – $750
- T-12th – $600
- T-15th – $450
- T-17th – $300
- T-25th – $300
There’s a total prize pool of $24,150 to compete for. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R450,000! If you just want to watch, we are sure that the ACGL Alpha Twitch channel will stream some Rocket League action from the event, so don’t miss out!
In case you didn’t know, a South African team called Limitless competed at the RLCS 2024 Copenhagen Major 1 event.
