Important RLCS 2026 Sub-Saharan Africa details
With the 2025 World Championship in our rearview mirror, and the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2026 format and schedule outlined for the 2026 season, we’ve got some vital information to share with fans.
RLCS 2026 SSA Split 1 details
First up, while South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) isn’t running the RLCS 2026 Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) events (that’s BLAST), they do have a fantastic page for the RLCS 2026 season for local gamers, to make all the information as clear as possible.
With that out of the way, it is important to note that all the SSA Split 1 details have been revealed, and the Open 1 event is already underway. Each of the three Opens boasts huge prize pools of $32,100, which is roughly R550,000 at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate. Teams are not only competing for a big wad of cash, but also to represent the region at the RLCS 2026 Boston Major, accumulating points in each Open event.
Check out the RLCS 2026 SSA Split 1 event schedule and cutoff dates/times below.
- Open 1 – 18 November 2025 – 17:00 SAST
- Open 2 – 06 January 2025 – 17:00 SAST
- Open 3 – 20 January 2025 – 17:00 SAST
