Then, the new event taking place this weekend and hosted by South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) might be just what you are looking for. Here’s what you need to know.

1v1 R6 Showdown details

ACGL has partnered with Ubisoft South Africa and SiegeDad to bring you the 1v1 R6 Showdown cup, so don’t miss out! The prize pool is 9,600 R6 Credits, with the following distribution.

  • 1st place wins 6,000 R6 Credits
  • 2nd place wins 3,600 R6 Credits

You can find the event’s registration page on ACGL. The tournament has limited spaces available, so register as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. The signup deadline is 00:00 on Friday, 16 February 2024, and all group stage matches must be completed before 22:00 that evening.

On Saturday, 17 February 2024, the players who made it to the 1v1 R6 Showdown will compete in the playoffs with the following schedule:

  • Ro16: 13:00 SAST
  • Ro8: 13:45 SAST
  • Ro4 (1st Match): 14:30 SAST
  • Ro4 (2nd Match): 15:15 SAST

Good luck to all who enter the 1v1 R6 Showdown! There’s more R6 Siege esports action to come from ACGL, as the game won the first ever ACGL Game Wars on social media, and there’s a R6 Siege cup coming up on 9 March 2024 as a result.
