NODWIN Gaming Africa PUBG Mobile Solos Cup this weekend

This weekend, there’s a Solos PUBG: Mobile cup that fans of Battle Royale on their phone shouldn’t miss out on. It is called the PUBG: Mobile Solos Cup #2 and comes from tournament organizer Nodwin Gaming Africa. Here’s what you need to know.

PUBG: Mobile Solos Cup #2 details

This is part of the ongoing community tournaments from Nodwin Gaming Africa with an aim to “support rising grassroots esports talent in Africa.”

It takes place this Saturday, 6 May 2023, starting at 18:00 SAST. Registration is completely free. You can head on over to Nodwin Gaming Africa’s ChallengerMode page for the event and sign up.

Prize pool distribution:
  • 1st place – $40
  • 2nd place – $30
  • 3rd place – $15
  • 4th place – $15

That’s a $100 prize pool on the line. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R1,800 to compete for. Remember, as the name clearly states, this is a Solos tournament.  Erangel will be played until the final. The final is BO3. Maps for the finals are: Erangel, Miramar & Sanhok. This is a mobile-only event, so no PC emulators are allowed.
