Snoop Dogg joins FaZe Clan

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., known by most of the world as Snoop Dogg, is one of the most recognizable faces out there. The American rapper, actor, entrepreneur and songwriter has in recent times streamed on Twitch, and now, he has joined famous esports organization FaZe Clan.

First off, don’t expect to see Snoop Dogg in one of FaZe Clan’s prolific esports teams. Instead, as the FaZe Clan company goes public later in 2022, Snoop Dogg will serve on the board of directors.

He will also launch merchandise with the brand, co-create content and participate in key business initiatives. His official handle is FaZe Snoops!

Via a press release, Snoop Dogg states: “It only makes sense to partner with FaZe Clan as both a team member and on the Board of Directors. The youth identifies with their brand and that’s something my son Cordell knew, which is why he brought us together.”

The Chief Strategy officer of FaZe Clan, Kai Henry, adds: “The organic relationship between FaZe and Snoop has been building for years now, so we are thrilled to officially welcome FaZe Snoop to the family. As the original internet kid and first-generation gamer, Snoop has always understood the cultural connection between music, lifestyle, and gaming.”

Snoop Dogg is not the first celebrity to join the FaZe Clan roster. For example, there’s Lebron “FaZe Bronny” James Jr, Kyler “FaZe K1” Murray and even Lil Yachty aka “FaZe Boat“

It will be interesting to see what type of content Snoop “FaZe Snoops” Dogg brings to the table for all the FaZe fans out there.
