PUBG Mobile Adwa League announced with a whopping R10,000 up for grabs
We recently reported on several South African esports tournaments perfect for keeping gamers busy during the lockdown. Now another option is available for fans of PUBG Mobile. Techfest and Adwa Gaming revealed the PUBG Mobile Adwa League last week, and registrations open today. Here’s what you need to know.
PUBG Mobile Adwa League details
Registrations open today, 1 April 2020, at 12:00 (midday) SAST with a prize pool of R10,000 up for grabs. You can register for the PUBG Mobile Adwa League on the Adwa Gaming website this afternoon. Registering for the league is free.
In a press release, the organizers explained that:
“This online gaming event will be hosted by Techfest Expo and Adwa Gaming to help soften the blow during this devastating global pandemic.”
The PUBG Mobile Adwa League is a solo league, which will be hosted entirely online. It is open to all South Africans. The league will take place over a six-week period. This six-week period includes four weeks of league play, followed by a two-week playoff.
The prize pool breakdown for the league is as follows:
- 1st Place: R5 000
- 2nd Place: R2 500
- 3rd Place: R1 500
- 4th Place: R500
- 5th Place: R500
