Mettlestate tournaments this weekend
There is no shortage of esports tournaments for South African gamers to enjoy. Mettlestate continues to push out great tournaments and this weekend, you take part in the Mortal Kombat 11 and Fortnite Duos tournaments.
Here’s what you need to know about the action taking place this weekend from Mettlestate, in partnership with ASUS ROG
Mortal Kombat 11
Registrations for the Mortal Kombat 11 tournament are open. You can head on over to the Mettlestate tournament page to register before 29 May 2020 at 19:00 SAST.
The tournament takes place on 30 May from 15:00 to 19:00 SAST. Registration is free, and there’s R1,000 up for grabs.
The prize pool distribution is:
- 1st place – R500
- 2nd place – R300
- 3rd place – R200
The tournament will be played on PS4, and follows a single-elimination format.
Fortnite Duos
The Fortnite Duos tournament takes place at the same time as the Mortal Kombat 11 tournament, which means you probably won’t be able to play in both.
Registrations for the Fortnite Duos tournament are open. You can head on over to the Mettlestate tournament page to register before 29 May 2020 at 19:00 SAST.
The tournament takes place on 30 May from 15:00 to 19:00 SAST. Registration is free, and there’s R2,000 up for grabs.
The prize pool distribution is:
- 1st place – R800
- 2nd place – R600
- 3rd place – R400
- 4th place – R200
The tournament will be played on PS4, Mobile and PC, using the Duos Battle Royale mode.
