Hyperluxe Rocket League for Sub-Saharan Africa this weekend
Hyperluxe Gaming dubbed the “next generation of Esports platforms”, is having its first Sub-Saharan Africa exclusive tournament this weekend. If you are into Rocket League and have a team standing by, revving their engines, then we’ve got the details to share.
Hyperluxe Rocket League event
The first Hyperluxe tournament exclusive for Sub-Saharan Africa will occur this Saturday, 17 September 2022. The action starts at 19:00 SAST.
You must sign up to the Hyperluxe website and join the tournament via its dedicated page. Participants will also need to join Hyperluxe’s Discord server to compete. This is a 3v3 tournament open to all platforms. There’s a prize pool of $100 to compete for. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R1,750.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – $50
- 2nd place – $30
- 3rd place – $20
This is a single-elimination bracket tournament, with a maximum of 16 teams competing, so don’t miss out. Matches are all best-of-five. Registering for the Hyperluxe Rocket League event is entirely free of charge.
How it works:
- Brackets will be generated at tournament start time.
- All players must be in discord.
- Once you have your matchup, find them on discord to set up your match.
- Winners report their results on the brackets page.
- Repeat this process until the tournament is over.
